The maximum power output of the new EV charging station is 19.2 kW, three times that of the current EV charging station and cutting charging time by two thirds.  In addition, the device is compatible with 12-80 A current intensity (amperage) and can be deployed in a variety of locations.

Michael D. Farkas, founder and Executive director of Blink Charging, said, "This is a significant milestone for our company as we win approval from insurers' LABS for our next-generation DC charging technology.  The new charging stations are so powerful that they score high on speed, reliability and safety, meaning drivers can wait three hours on the road until their cars are fully charged, instead of just one hour.  What used to take 30 minutes to charge can now be done in 10 minutes."

The company will deploy a new generation of Blink charging stations to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations in Midea, which already has 14,000 stations across the US.
