How to judge whether the shock absorbers are damaged? Generally, after the shock absorber is damaged, there are the following faults:
1. The shock absorber leaks. The outer surface of ordinary shock absorbers is dry and clean. If the oil leaks, the hydraulic oil in the shock absorber leaks from the upper part of the piston rod. In this case, the shock absorber basically fails.
2. When the car goes through a bumpy road or a speed bump, the wheels make a "pop" sound, indicating that the shock absorbers on the wheels are invalid or ineffective.
3. When the car turns, the roll of the car body increases significantly, and even skidding occurs in severe cases. This is mainly because the damping force of the shock absorber is too small to effectively restrain the compression of the spring.
4. After driving on rough roads for a while, we felt the temperature of the shock absorber housing with our hands. Under normal conditions, the shock housing is warm. If the shock absorber housing is cool, it means the shock absorber is damaged.
5. When the car comes to a stop, when we press a corner of the body and release it, the body bounces back against the force of the spring. If the rebound stabilizes quickly, it means that the shock absorber is good; if the shock absorber stops after repeated several times, it means that the damping effect of the shock absorber is slightly poor.
