Integral to the vehicle's engine management system, the aptly named exhaust gas recirculation valve, or EGR valve for short, recirculates finely metered quantities of exhaust gas to the engine intake system for increased engine efficiency, reduced fuel consumption and lower NOx emissions.

The function of exhaust gas circulation valve is: 1. Keep the ventilation in the crankcase, keep the exhaust gas in the crankcase into the main intake pipeline through the circulation valve, and burn together with the combustible mixture, so as to eliminate the harmful gases in the oil and gas and discharge into the atmosphere. 2. Exhaust gas circulation valve has a certain function of liquefied petroleum gas. When the oil vapor reaches the circulating valve position, it will be liquefied into oil, and then flow back to the crankcase after cooling the valve body, which can effectively avoid the problem of excessive fuel consumption. 3. The exhaust gas recirculation valve is located on the branch pipe of the automobile exhaust pipe, which belongs to the exhaust gas recirculation system. The main purpose is to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas and improve fuel economy under partial load. 4. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) means that part of the exhaust gas emitted by the engine is sent back to the intake pipe and re-enters the cylinder with fresh air mixture. 5. EGR system is the main measure to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas.
