A McPherson front suspension rigid-elastic coupling model was established by ADAMS/CAR, and the sensitivity of the suspension rubber bushing stiffness was analyzed by ADAMS/insight. The bushing stiffness, which has great influence on wheel positioning parameters, was selected as the design variable, and the minimum variation of wheel camber Angle, front beam Angle, kingpin internal Angle and kingpin rear Angle was taken as the objective function. The wheel positioning parameters were improved by experimental design and multi-objective optimization method. The results show that the kinematic characteristics of suspension can be effectively improved by changing the axial stiffness, torsional stiffness, radial stiffness, axial stiffness and torsional stiffness of front bushing on the lower control arm shaft. After optimized design, the suspension performance is obviously improved compared with the original scheme.
