What Is a Front Wheel Speed Sensor?
There are four different wheel speed sensors mounted at each wheel of modern vehicles. The ones mounted on the front wheels are called front wheel speed sensors. They are located in the hub assembly and, along with the rear sensors, monitor the vehicle's speed and provide the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU) with the necessary information.
